Choose your tool

Explore seven reviewed tools including level 125/150/200 build budgets, Smithing Stone planning and an independent soft caps reference; experimental tools are clearly separated. Start with a build, compare starting classes, check equipment load or browse the level-up rune cost chart. Reference v1.17 AR passes 50 independently repeated same-input external-site comparisons; current-patch certified AR and enemy damage remain separate accuracy claims.

Choose by the task, not the keyword

Which Elden Ring calculator should I use first?

Each reviewed tool answers a different question. Start with the problem you have in-game; these calculators do not substitute for one another.

I want to plan eight attributes for my character

Use the Build Calculator to distribute stats and calculate the resulting level. If you have not picked an origin yet, compare starting stat minimums and fresh-start rune cost in the Starting Class Optimizer first.

I need to know what leveling or upgrades cost

The Rune Calculator adds character level-up rune costs. The Smithing Stone Calculator separately counts weapon-upgrade materials and subtracts stones you already own. It does not calculate smithing rune fees.

I need to make an existing build playable

Enter actual equipped weight and maximum load in the Equip Load Calculator for light, medium or heavy roll thresholds. To redistribute points while keeping your starting class and total level, use the Respec Calculator. See Soft Caps before allocating points.

These are browser-based planning tools, not a promise of optimal gameplay. See our calculation methods and evidence limits.

Research & experimental tools

These additional calculators and community-reference tools are available to explore, but are not approved for Google indexing. Some models or individual data fields have limited validation, and results must not be treated as universally current-game verified. See the accuracy and source record before relying on them.

Why this site

Know the limits.
Trust the result.

Every number should have a method. We publish level and load calculations with validation notes, while experimental weapon AR remains clearly separated from real-game results.

Weapon AR is being validated

A new weapon reference now includes real names and community-reported base stats. The separate AR research workbench uses fictional or local imported parameters. Our independent v1.17 reference AR engine now matches 50 of 50 independently repeated Tarnished.dev v1.17 browser cases across twelve weapon families, including DLC, Regular/Somber upgrades, elemental/status affinities and 1H/2H. Free opt-in pinned-source calculations remain in the local Weapon Data Workbench; no game installation is needed. Current-patch game-certified AR, enemy damage and complete armor data remain distinct and unverified.
