Manual CSV or opt-in reference · Exact weight/Poise search

Custom Armor Optimizer

Find armor combinations from your own item shortlist while controlling total equipped weight, desired roll tier and minimum poise. Every protection score here is your own comparable rating — not the game's damage-negation percentage.

1. Your armor options

Paste CSV rows with one item per line. Slots: head, chest, hands, legs. Use a score on any consistent personal scale to rate protection or utility. Poise is added separately.

The initial CSV rows are deliberately fictional. Replace them with your own names and values or choose the separate opt-in community armor reference below. No game images, descriptions or public source JSON are bundled.

2. Optimization constraints

Ranking = sum of your custom item scores + (poise × chosen bonus). This is a personal comparison metric, not real game damage reduction. Each armor slot may be left empty.

Excluded pieces (0)

Exclude a piece from any result row to immediately search again. Use Undo here to restore it; your CSV is unchanged.

    How does it choose combinations?

The search enumerates one item or no item in each of four armor slots. It excludes results below the minimum poise or at/above the selected equipment-load threshold, then ranks the five best eligible sets by your chosen scoring rule.

The 30%, 70%, and 100% boundaries are strict; exactly 70% is heavy, not medium. Maximum load should match what the game shows after buffs and talismans.

What the scores do not mean

Do not add the game's damage-negation percentages and treat the total as true damage reduction. Different damage types and buffs require separate rules. Here, scores are user-entered preference values only; item weight and minimum poise constrain the search.

All data is handled locally. Export your options to keep them. No inventory, official images or weapon data are distributed. See accuracy and sources.

568-piece pinned source + separately verified DLC · 13 combat objectives

Optimize 13 armor attributes from 568 community records plus verified DLC

On your explicit click, this browser retrieves a pinned public armor list, extracts names, slot positions, source weight and Poise, and maximizes the selected source-reported combat property under your weight and roll-tier constraints. Targets include Poise, Immunity, Robustness, Focus, Vitality and all eight damage-negation types. Negation percentages are stacked multiplicatively; other source resistance points add. A missing field excludes only that item from that objective, never turns into zero. The reported source percentages are often rounded, so this is not yet an independently observed Tarnished.dev v1.17 numeric result. Set Minimum combined poise in section 2 to require that much source Poise while maximizing any selected attribute (for example, maximize physical negation with at least 51 Poise). The exact four-slot search simultaneously respects the strict weight cap and Poise minimum; missing source Poise is excluded when required. Individual slot locks and forced-empty slots are supported. A separate 13-metric weighted mode supports combined per-metric minima/maxima and shows five exact ranked local combinations; equipment effects and Tarnished.dev weighted-score/tie-ranking parity remain unverified.

Combined constraint: the Minimum combined poise input above applies to every source optimization objective; 0 disables the minimum. All four armor slots may be empty if no minimum is required.

When checked: Poise-only objective uses 551 verified items including Circlet of Light and Gravebird Bracelets; each single other metric uses 515 verified items (including Gravebird Bracelets). The weighted mode uses only the intersection of the site-verified fields actually involved in its weights or constraints. The 19 unverified items, and special-effect data not directly proven for the chosen metric, are excluded from the site-verified subset. Uncheck only for independent source-only research, which is NOT a Tarnished.dev parity claim. In either mode the best four-piece combination still needs a same-input optimizer UI comparison.

    Choose available armor slots

Each slot can use any eligible piece, remain empty, or lock one exact item from the loaded reference. A locked piece must be in the selected verified subset and have the required objective/Poise fields; otherwise optimization stops with an error instead of silently replacing it.

    Tarnished.dev v1.17 · directly observed Poise-only reference

The actual source site produced 70 Poise for naked Wretch (all stats 10), no other equipment/effects, maximum load 48.176, reserved weight 0, normal roll; Poise multiplier 1 and twelve other multipliers 0. This reference does not establish the competitor's 13-metric ranking algorithm.

Reference comparison disabled until you confirm the exact character context and run an eligible Poise-only optimization.

These are reference-site displayed ranks from the actual public result table, not our local optimized ranking. Reference capture 41279389097 (one browser); seven of the top ten rows can be independently reconstructed item by item. Exact tie ranking remains unpublished and cannot be extrapolated to different builds.

Observed first row: Circlet of Light + Tree Sentinel Armor + Preceptor's Gloves + Tree Sentinel Greaves; 70 Poise, 33.7 weight. A second observed 70-Poise row weighs 33.3 with Gravebird Bracelets instead. The site's tie ordering is not reproduced by claiming a different algorithm is identical.
